Congratulations to the champions!

From 26 to 27 April 2025, robotics competitions were held in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

The international championship on Sakhalin Island gathered about 3,000 participants - more than 500 teams from 32 regions of Russia and other countries.

The Koryphey team consisting of 3rd ‘B’ class pupils David Nakryzhsky and Makar Konstantinov became prize-winners in the ‘Accuracy and Speed’ nomination! The team was trained by Milana Borisovna Medvedeva.

Milana Borisovna shared with us her impressions of the trip and participation in the championship:
‘The competition was held in four stages. The most difficult for the team was the third stage, when they had to combine several mechanisms into one and connect them to the motor. The guys fulfilled the task, but there were teams that did it faster.
Sakhalin met us with harsh weather and a huge time difference, which also affected the result.
Our BrickSteam is very pleased with their performance at the Championship, as we competed with the best teams from different regions of Russia. What surprised us most of all was the rugged wilderness of our country's largest island!’
